par·ox·ysm noun A sudden attack or violent expression of a particular emotion or activity.
Do you guys know this feeling, when very simple and mundane things happen, not necessarely bad things, things that shouldn't have any importance for you, things that don't even necessarily concern you, things that you couldn't ever imagine hurting you when you thought about them before... Yet when these things happen, you suddenly feel powerless and out of balance, like you just jumped off a building in a TV show directed by Steven Moffat. And all of the sudden it hurts. And then, you just feel like you are left alone and scared in some dark and cold place of your consciousness, with the utterly terrifying realization that a certain something or someone in your life somehow became much more important to you than you could ever have imagined they would.
This drawing is dedicated to all things that hurt in unexpected ways because we let them matter much more than they ever should.
P.S. This song is beautiful: [link] Nothing in this description makes sense. Sorry for being such a mess.
once it happen when i saw a photo of a dying man here in deviant, i never cried before just by looking at the photo of the helpless man, but i was at helpless stage too, the picture is great i love your work
The drawing is beautiful, and the description is poetic. Poetry does not have to make logical sense, but instead speaks to an emotional experience. I like the way you captured the emotion in this drawing, your use of color, and the birds.
I really like how you use birds in a lot of your artwork, this is beautiful. Also "like you just jumped off a building in a TV show directed by Steven Moffat" had me in a laughing fit XD
