The Old Puppet Theatre My velvet dress is covered with thick dust
A plastic smile had frozen my pale face
My tiny hands are wrapped is lavish lace
Some pearls of my grey corsage had been lost
My veins seem so blue on porcelain skin
Silky cords are knit into their pattern
When the master lights up his old lantern
I know, again, he fell in his chagrin

We used to be so many on this stage
Now, while he makes me twirl, I feel so small
Responding to commands in slow motion
I would have overcomed and turned the page
It's just that… After all I'm just a doll
And I'm not supposed to have emotions

Falling Down Into Nowhere The Pain never takes sugar in his tea
The Missing doesn't make it any sweeter
The Waiting has no wish of getting shorter
Forgetting is so bitter…

A sunray, dancing dust like a pinch of glitter
A broken music box a few repeating painful notes
A heavy smell of ethanol and curry
My head is aching…

It's so cold in here...

I can't remember why I'm crying
But tears are running down my face
Sometimes I feel like everybody's lying
And then, again, I'm dragged away into nowhere

And here, I feel secure but something's missing
It feels like standing up on moving sands
I think I heard a voice calling a name that once was mine

I just fell in love with this chapter in "Alice: Madness Returns"!! It's just so incredibly awesome (just like everything in the game , actually

)!! On the drawing it turned out to be more like, a mix between the Mysterious East and the Vale of Tears, but, oh well

I'm still very proud of the result

Yes, this game is amazing!

I beat it shortly after it came out, annd loved everything about it, especially the graphics

As far as the gameplay and general atmoshpere goes though, I still prefer the first game (American McGee's Alice). Have you played that one?

I have played the first one~ It was awesomeee...even though the graphics were ok, it was a AWESOME game ;D

I still missed the vortexes and swirly backgrounds from the fortress of doors, in the second game (they only had it in some of the radula rooms)

And I prefer the gameplay of the first one, just because of this awesome feeling you get just before the last door of the game

And how emotionally attached you become to Alice through the game...
